Meet the 2017 Collegiate Inventors Competition Finalists!
The Collegiate Inventors Competition (CIC) was founded in 1990 to encourage and drive innovation and entrepreneurship at the collegiate level. The competition brings together the nation’s brightest college minds to showcase, recognize, and award their cutting-edge research and discovery. CIC is a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, working in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to challenge and inspire college students to innovate.
The program bridges the gap between students’ experiences with collegiate innovation and how their work will make a real-world impact. Connecting Finalists to respected organizations is key to showing students not only the potential value of their ideas to society, but also to encouraging them to consider STEM careers, which helps advance technology for the benefit of all people.
