And the winners are . . .!
Every year, we look forward to learning the results of the Cisco Global Problem Solver Challenge.
More than 500 teams of #innovators from around the world enter in the hope that their solution to a pressing problem will be the one selected by a panel of 80 subject-matter experts.
Thankfully, the results are now in! In all, 13 teams divided up a grand prize total of $350,000 — money that will further power economic development and solve social and environmental issues.
And the Grand Prize Winner is . . . Savanna Circuit Tech, which designed a solar chilling transit system aimed at the dairy business and co-ops of sub-Saharan African. Their solution effectively decreases post-harvest product and monetary losses.
And let’s not forget about the #India Impact Grand Prize winner, Sensegrass, whose soil Intelligence diagnostic system allows low-income small farmers to improve yield through a patented IoT device.
